Become a Dokan Vendor

With the help of the PeepSo Monetization: WooCommerce integration plugin, you can enable your site users to become a Vendor. The settings that allow you to send a request to become a Vendor can be found in WP Admin -> PeepSo -> Configuration -> WooCommerce -> Dokan section.

In the integration settings you will find:

  • Let users become vendors – select one of the available options to enable or disable the ability to send a request to become a Vendor. If you select one of the options to allow sending the request, an additional section will appear in the user’s profile preferences. To find it, go to Profile page -> Preferences -> Vendor Application section and use Apply to become a vendor button.

After sending the request, depending on whether we have chosen to accept it in the integration settings, we have to accept it or not in the third-party Dokan plugin settings. You can find them in WP Admin -> Dokan -> Vendors.

  • Profile tab – use the Enabled switch to make an additional Products tab appear in the PeepSo profile navigation when you accept the request to become a Vendor. You can also change its name by entering it in the Label position.
  • Dashboard – use the Enabled switch so that when you accept the request to become a Vendor, an additional Dashboard tab appears in the PeepSo profile navigation. You can also rename it by entering it in the Label position.

Dokan Integration

Dokan is the WordPress eCommerce plugin to build multi-vendor marketplaces. It helps you to build marketplaces like Amazon, Shopify, eBay, Magento and similar stores directly into your WordPress website.

Since PeepSo 3.3.0.0, the PeepSo WooCommerce integration gains support for this plugin.
It is the second integration (after WooCommerce Product Vendors). With this integration, users can see all products sold by vendors in their PeepSo profile.

To enable the integration, Dokan and WooCommerce have to be installed and activated. Once they are running on the site,  you will be able to see new setting in Woocommerce backend configuration.

When the setting is enabled in the backend configuration, a new profile tab “Products” will show in the dedicated tab in user profiles which will display all the products sold by the user if they are a product vendor.
You can change the name of this tab in the above configuration, but the The Vendor tab itself is prioritized and it will always display after the About tab.

WooCommerce Product Vendors integration

Product Vendors is a paid plugin developed by Woocommerce, which can turn your store into a multi-vendor marketplace.
This integration requires Woocommerce and Product Vendors plugin to be installed and activated. Once it is activated, you can see new settings in Woocommerce backend configuration.

A new profile tab “Products” will show in the dedicated tab in user profiles if they are a product vendor. We made sure the Vendor tab is prioritized and it will always display after the About tab.

Woocommerce Integration On Stream

Product Order Activity Content

The post that is created upon purchase looks, works and behaves perfectly with PeepSo stream. It uses WordPress embeds. It takes the WooCommerce product right from your store and showcases it beautifully within the post. When just one item is purchased it just embeds that one. When more than one are purchased at the same time, they are shown in a slider which can be navigated easily. The phrase: made a purchase can be adjusted in the integrations configuration in the backend of your site: WP Admin ->PeepSo -> Configuration -> WooCommerce

User also can disable this feature from their settings, just go to User Profile -> Preferences and uncheck “Add Purchase details in activity

Product Review Activity Content

Since only one review can be made at a time, each post can contain just one. Just like with a purchase post, it embeds the WooCommerce product right from your store. Above that we’ll have the full text of the review and a the 1-5 number rating from WooCommerce is translated to stars. The phrase: wrote a review can be adjusted in the integrations configuration in the backend of your site: WP Admin ->PeepSo -> Configuration -> WooCommerce

User also can disable this feature from their settings, just go to User Profile -> Preferences and uncheck “Add Review in activity

Woocommerce Integration On Profiles

Welcome to unified shopping experience where users, except when visiting the store, don’t have to leave the social aspect of your site. Store navigation has been added to User Profiles in PeepSo. Orders and Cart menus are available in PeepSo Profile Widget as well as in the dropdown on PeepSo Toolbar.

Addresses

Users can set their shipping and billing addresses right in their profiles in PeepSo. When you go to Profile -> About you’ll see that there’s a new tab called Addresses.

Orders

Orders are a bit more complex than that, since this is one of the most important aspects of the shopping experience. That’s one of the reasons they are put in a separate tab in profiles. Orders come with three views, those are: Orders, Order Tracking and Downloads (if you’re selling digital goods).

Cart

This consists of pretty much 2 views, the actual Cart and Checkout. Both are rather self-explanatory
