PeepSo 18.104.22.168 is an important security release that will address the issues with CSRF vulnerabilities. We suggest to update immediately. Also in this release, we are introducing a completely new PeepSo Integration with GiveWP donation plugin.
We at PeepSo value security of our plugins more than anything else, and pride ourselves on being very quick to respond to any security issues discovered during development, or the issues our clients report back to us. Discovered vulnerability fixed in this release is a medium threat CSRF (Cross-Site Request Forgery), and we do urge everyone to update their sites immediately.
New Integrations Galore
As you may have noticed, the rate at which we develop new integrations with popular plugins has been increased in early 2023.
GiveWP is one of the most popular donation plugins for WordPress, which allows the administrator to setup donation forms and collect donations from their users.
With PeepSo integration, you can now display it in activity stream when someone makes a donation.
And as a user who donated, you can easily see all your donations within PeepSo profile page.
Due to the nature of GiveWP plugin, Donations tab on the profile page will only be available to profile owners. You won’t be able to see Donations tabs of other users as it is a huge privacy violation.
Other Fixes & Improvements
Previously, we released the IdeaPush integration with the plan to implement it at this very website to collect user suggestions and ideas, but during the setup, we found some minor, mostly cosmetic issues that are fixed in this version.
