This primarily bugfix release addresses the issue with photos which in some rare situations can cause the Photos plugin to stop working or even worse, cause the site to break. The first release in 2023, marked 5.3.6.0 brings multiple bugfixes to the core plugins and integrations, and is also our 203rd version ever to be released. In it, we pack more fixes for File Uploads plugin as well as other core plugins.

We are wrapping up the 2022 with Phase 3 of photo rotation, making it possible to rotate all photos uploaded in activity streams via post box. We’ve also tweaked the behavior of posts that are bumped with comments, and added some improvements for third-party plugins and integrations.
