We’re excited to share the latest PeepSo update, focused on refining the everyday experience of running and participating in a social community. This release brings meaningful improvements to reposting logic, content visibility, mobile usability, WooCommerce integrations, and overall system stability. The goal is simple: make PeepSo feel smoother, clearer, and more reliable for both site owners and members.
Smarter Pages and Reposting Behavior
Pages now support a more consistent and intuitive reposting experience. Page posts can be reposted appropriately by their owners, while safeguards ensure users cannot repost their own personal posts or repost content in places where it doesn’t belong, such as Groups. Page content will also no longer appear in a user’s Following stream unless that Page has been explicitly liked or followed, giving members better control over what they see in their feeds.
These changes bring clearer boundaries between profiles, Pages, and Groups, reducing noise while keeping engagement intentional.
Improved WooCommerce and Dokan Integration
This update improves the styling of Dokan-powered product pages for a cleaner and more professional storefront appearance. In addition, newly submitted products from Dokan vendors can now be published directly into the PeepSo activity stream, helping products gain visibility and encouraging interaction right where your community is most active.

Better Mobile and Interface Polish
We’ve simplified the avatar upload experience on mobile devices, making profile setup faster and more intuitive. Navigation has also been refined with an improved PeepSo navbar active state, clearer dropdown behavior, better text alignment in the postbox, and improved text translations for profile-related elements. These small but important refinements add up to a noticeably more polished user experience.
Stability, Performance, and Reliability Improvements
Several behind-the-scenes fixes improve overall site reliability. PHP sessions now close correctly, resolving an issue that could lead to loading problems on some sites. Notifications have been made more resilient and will now load properly even when translation arguments are empty. Privacy handling has also been strengthened, ensuring that removing the Public privacy level via filters no longer breaks postbox or repost behavior.
Groups, Video, and System Enhancements
Groups benefit from internal improvements through SuperQueue, helping manage content flow more efficiently. TikTok videos now display correctly in the lightbox, ensuring media content works as expected. Email Digest gains a new filter to allow developers and site owners to fine-tune inactive user thresholds, while the EDD Manage Licenses link now correctly routes users within their profile even when no purchase history page exists.
