The new version of our community app is based on the future version of the PeepSo App SDK 2025.2. All the existing client apps (20 of them!) will be gradually upgraded to this SDK this month.

It features more improvements than before, massive codebase refactoring and lots of UI/UX improvements.
 

• System push notifications now route properly in all circumstances (including cold start)

• UI/UX: Hide header (iOS / Android) and shrink footer (iOS) on content scroll

• UI/UX: Photos in lightboxes can now be tapped to open a browser pop-up with full size preview

• UI/UX: WebView back/forward navigation is now a container separate from the WebView, not to obstruct the content
• UI/UX Better handling of font scaling in case user sets a huge font in the device preferences
• UI/UX: Sidebar footer area will now scale to the same height as the main Bottom Tab Navigator
• UI/UX: Font Awesome Pro for different styles of icons
• UI/UX: Experimental dark/light mode switching (closed beta)
• Performance: Major refactoring of the native UI elements (header, bottom navigator sidebar and notifications/search pop-ups)
• Performance: General improvements, reduced re-rendering thanks to improved local/global state and “memoization”
