The new version of our community app is based on the future version of the PeepSo App SDK 2024.12.A. All the existing client apps (18 of them!) will be gradually upgraded to this SDK in December.
It features tons of improvements and some redesign.
- Smooth scrolling with proper momentum
- Build option: Semi-transparent bottom bar
- Better handling of notifications (however deep links still need some work)
- Improved calculation of the native header SafeArea in relation to the StatusBar (especially on Android)
- Improved StatusBar (no more white font on white background)
- General performance improvements
- Sidebar links can now be customized with PHP filters, including adding new sections and reordering them
- Build option: integration with Better Messages (including push notifications)
- Build option: ability to hide usernames from the native header
- Android: improved handling of the “back” button: navigating within WebView, closing notification pop-ups and the sidebar
