Post by Gary Wayne on Feb 5, 2024 6:10 PM I have a user on iPhone who has been getting logged out frequently and then has troubles logging back in. He claims he enters the password correctly, but then he got a notice of “You have reached the maximum number of login retires. Please try after 3 hours” – the things is, I have it set the brute force to “15 minutes” for first login error, and then to “24 hours” for the next login protection. I have no idea where the text of “try after 3 hours” came from? He sent me a screenshot to show me. He also says that when he tries to login he is redirected to the welcome page. I have a private website using the Profile Builder plugin. No other user has reported this kind of error or problem. When I did disable the “brute force” protection in PeepSo then he is able to login without being redirected to welcome page. Will disabling “Login nonce check” solve something like this problem? I don’t know if it’s related to the Profile Builder private community plugin or what the issue is. Appreciate the advice. Thank you.
