We are excited to announce the release of PeepSo 7.0.6.1, a version that continues our commitment to refining the community experience while addressing important usability improvements and fixes. This update introduces several key enhancements across core PeepSo features and integrations.

New Configurations and Improvements

In Groups, a new configuration has been added allowing non-members to publish posts within groups. This change provides greater flexibility for community managers to shape engagement policies that suit their members’ needs.

For the postbox, we improved the inactive state behavior, ensuring a more polished and intuitive user experience when interacting with content creation. Scheduled posts have also been improved, with clearer time selection to make planning content easier and more precise.

Enhancements to Admin Experience

We refined the way permalink settings are checked during activation, providing clearer notifications to help administrators set up their communities with confidence. Fresh installs now feature a smoother process, with improved flows and other admin notices for better guidance.

In addition, we’ve fixed the redirect behavior that previously sent users back to the Getting Started page after updating, creating a more seamless workflow.

Visual and Integration Fixes

On the front end, the invisible camera icon on the change avatar button has been fixed, ensuring profile personalization works as expected.

For those using the GiveWP integration, translation files have been corrected to ensure proper localization.

With PeepSo 7.0.6.1, we focused on smoothing rough edges while giving both administrators and users more control over their community environment. Whether it’s through improved scheduling, better group configurations, or clearer guidance during setup, this release makes running and participating in your community more efficient and enjoyable.
