New PeepSo release will always be accompanied by Gecko Theme release. This is also the case. While we focus on the big picture in the background we also make sure to deliver a steady stream of updates so you can get the most out of our software.

The first release of March delivers a reasonably big payload of improvements and fixes. In the meantime, the work on Server Sent Events and a few other major improvements is quietly progressing in the background. 

This is a small compatibility fix required for all websites running WordPress 4.x.x – this update ensures not to call the blocks API (introduced with Gutenberg) where it does not exist due to an older WordPress version.

The first (and last) release of February was primarily focused on delivering the stable Gecko Theme version. Nevertheless, PeepSo 2.2.0 delivers a few improvements to the plugins as well.

Gecko 2.2.0.0 is the first ever stable version of our first ever WordPress theme released. That comes with a lot of responsibility. The first release came out on the 21st of November 2018. That’s almost exactly 3 months ago. Since then we had: 8 releases for Gecko itself. That’s roughly a release every 1.5 weeks.…

Second release of January is upon us. With it, we’re shipping mostly improvements and fixes while in the background working on bigger things that are to come. One of the most important points of this release is that this is the last BETA release for Gecko theme. Next one will officially be a stable one.

It’s time to give back to the community again. With Location, Tags and Moods joining PeepSo last year are now followed by 4 other premium plugins. With that we want to give back to you and others who have supported PeepSo. Oh, and we also have a new version of our Gecko Theme 🙂

The second release of December is very likely to be the last plugin release this year – we might still release one more version of Gecko. We improved compatibility with WordPress 5 and Gutenberg, fixed a handful of minor bugs and kept working on Server Sent Events.
