The new Routes Manager PeepSo addon allows users to integrate the Routes Manager plugin with their PeepSo social network. The Routes Manager plugin lets users create a catalog of map routes with various points of interest. This addon creates the ability for community admins to add map routes to your PeepSo social network and enhance their social community.
The Routes Manager Plugin displays created map routes with Google Maps integration. These maps include points of interest and can include trails marked for various outdoor activities like running, hiking or biking. Maps can be categorized by location, route type or difficulty. Read more

The PeepSo – BadgeOS Integration is a 3rd Party plugin which brings a gamification system to PeepSo that awards achievement badges for community engagement. The badges are displayed in users’ profiles and a corresponding activity post is published on the PeepSo stream. Users who earn a badge will also receive a notification.
The Plugin not only displays badges for the default activities in BadgeOS. It also extends BadgeOS’s possibilities by adding PeepSo Community Engagement Actions. Users can earn badges by performing activities in your community.
The actions that generate badges depend on the PeepSo plugins you have installed and activated. Available actions are divided into groups, with each group name corresponding to the PeepSo plugin needed:
PeepSo Core (free):
- Admin Approves User Account
- Change Profile Avatar
- Change Profile Cover
- Write a Post
- Write a Comment
- Send a Friend Request
- Add a New Friend
- Send a Message
- Create a Group
- Join a Group
- Change Group Avatar
- Change Group Cover
User Profile and Navigation
The badges show in user profiles under the Badges submenu which is below the user profile cover. There are three menu items and three ways for users to view their badges:
- Through a link on the PeepSo toolbar under Profile > Badges. (This link can be disabled in the back end.)
- Through a link in the PeepSo Profile Widget > Badges. (This link can also be disabled in the back end.)
- And through a link in the User Profile under the cover.
Activity Stream Posts
Whenever a user earns a badge, a corresponding post is created in the PeepSo community. It’s like an announcement to the whole community that a user has just earned a badge.
Users also receive a notification that lets them know they’ve earned a new badge. (We wanted to make sure they didn’t miss it.)
Back End Configuration:
These are the available settings in the backend of the PeepSo Config > BadgeOS tab:
- Enable BadgeOS Integration.
- Show ‘Badges’ link in the PeepSo Profile widget.
- Show ‘Badges’ link in the PeepSo Profile menu.
- Create posts when a user earns a new badge.
- Display recent badges on the profile cover. (available from PeepSo 1.7.1)
- Number of recent badges to display on the cover. (available from PeepSo 1.7.1)
Is It a Standalone Plugin?
The PeepSo – BadgeOS Integration is not a stand-alone plugin. For this plugin to work you must have the following FREE plugins installed and activated:
Installing those two plugins will give you access to the PeepSo Community Engagement Actions mentioned in the PeepSo Core section above. To enjoy all of the PeepSo Community Engagement Actions available, you will also need to install all of the following plugins:
Where To Find Badge Images
You’ll want to use beautiful badge images to reward your members. Credly Badge Builder is a great place to start. It lets you create your own badges that you can download and use on your site. You can also order badges designed especially for your community. Check out this offer here.
This plugin can be purchased from our Addons Page.

PeepSo Reactions 2.0.0 (Reactions²) is now available for purchase. Reactions² is a major rewrite of the original third party Reactions plugin by MattsPlugins.com. It features a vastly improved interface and an all-new configuration panel offering amazing customization options.
The new interface is more dynamic, responsive and intuitive. New animations provide visual feedback when adding and removing reactions and when accessing or dismissing the post’s reactions breakdown. Icons even display tooltips with reaction names.
Reactions² lets you control exactly how the plugin works for your community. Nearly every aspect of the available reactions can be customized.
Reorder, Change Text & Icon, (Un)Publish
You can now drag-and-drop reactions to change their order in the front-end. All text can be customized, both the label and notification content. You can also swap the icons for your own custom SVG files uploaded via FTP.
All reactions (except “Like”) can be unpublished. Any reactions already used will still be visible in the statistics.
Create Your Own
This is most important (and the coolest) feature of all. You can now create completely new reactions, drag them anywhere in the set, and define the custom text and icon.
Custom-made Reactions can also be deleted, but this will also remove their entire history, so do be careful before choosing to delete!
Reactions² can be purchased from our Addons Page. Be among the first 30 customers to use the promo code below when checking out and get 20% off.

Upgrading From PeepSo Reactions 1.x
Reactions² will not replace the old Reactions plugin. In order to switch from Reaction 1.x to Reactions², you will need to deactivate the old plugin then activate the new one. Reactions² will automatically recognize user reactions on PeepSo posts.
Another 3rd party plugin addition to PeepSo. Developers at CreativeMinds have created an integration between one of their own plugins and PeepSo and it works great! If you’re looking for a Q&A / forum solution for your community, look no further.
PeepSo – CM Answers Pro Integration Plugin
The CM Answers Pro plugin was designed to create discussion boards and Q&A system forums on WordPress. The plugin allows forum members to post questions and answers, upload files, comment on existing topics and vote for the best forum contributions.
Using the plugin adds a new tab to users’ profiles. The Questions tab will show questions and answers posted by the profile owner. Each new question and answer may also generate a corresponding public post on the Activity Stream. The plugin is an integration between CM Answers Pro and PeepSo.
Please note that this integration requires CM Answers Pro.
Please also note that support for this plugin is provided by its developer.
The free PeepSo Core version is fantastic. But if you want to unlock the true potential of social networking for WordPress, install the other plugins today.
